WTEV07322170R Human Resources Specialist (Military) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - AK - Ft. Richardson MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Provides advice and consultation to the Director, Soldier and Family Assistance Center on a wide variety of military HR matters. Assists with the development of program guidance and instructions for the SFAC Program. Provides on-site assistance and appropriate recommendations concerning specific problems or issues in relation to the SFAC program and, specifically, the military personnel support program. Identifies, coordinates, and obtains a variety of resources and services for Warriors in Transition to include Department of the Army (DA) civilians that have physically, developmental, emotional or intellectual handicaps and support to their families. Assists Soldiers and their Families to navigate federal, state and private benefit systems; link them with selected financial, educational, employment, legal and medical resources. Provides advice and guidance, technical expertise, and support on a wide range of military personnel functions.
