NEBD08409654D RANGE TECHNICIAN Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - MA - Ayer or Ft. Devens MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); In this position, you will assist the Range Control Officer in the coordination and control of the Devens RFTA training areas/facilities for all Inactive Duty Training (IDT) and Annual Training (AT). You will inspect and oversee usage of training areas by active duty and reserve components of all military services. You will be responsible for briefing unit?s point of contact on established regulations and procedures involving the use of the training areas. You will bring discrepancies to the attention of the appropriate authorities. You will maintain two-way communication between Range Control/Operating Units by using range radios/telephone networks to open and close firing ranges, weapons training facilities and training areas. You will also prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports in accordance with systems user guide and provide special reports as required. Furthermore, you will develop, maintain, and execute the Range Training Land Program (RTLP).
