General Schedule Specialized experience is knowledge that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience is knowledge of policy, procedure and regulations covering the processing of a wide range of financial transactions; ability to balance accounts, adjust discrepancies, develop control records, prepare reports on status of funds and supplementary guidance concerning the processing of financial transactions; and knowledge of the Defense Travel System.The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Restriction.One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade or level requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled.Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience. MAJOR DUTIES:

You will serve as the Mission Travel Card Representative for the Army Charge Card Program responsible to administer the program for the Warrior Transition Unit. Review automated reports for delinquency, waste, fraud and abuse. Process government credit card applications and cancel cards as appropriate. Review/evaluate Defense Travel System (DTS) and ASIMS data query for outprocessing/clearing. Serve as POC for problems/questions on topics ranging from software use, entitlements, travel policy issues, transaction problems and payment problems. Analyze/audit travel vouchers for accuracy. Ensure request for payment are complete, accurate and conform to applicable regulations. Serve as the WTU Program Administrator for the DTS. Maintain (post-deployment) updates to travelers/routing officials/authorizing officials when changes occur due to PCS or transfer within the main organization. Maintain correct lines of accounting by fiscal year and ensure budgets are depicted correctly by quarters.
