SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Experience in administering the Food Service program, ensuring maximum accountability and use of Food Service resources for mission support. Reviews and interprets regulations, directives, and reports pertinent to these functions. Schedules, develops, conducts, and/or coordinates training for food service personnel. May act as inspector or evaluator during higher level competition.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Formulate food service regulations, policies, & procedures. Ensure these policies & procedures result in program efficiency & economy of effort & resources. Program responsibilities include overseeing command program management specifically developing the management decision evaluation package (MDEP) for inclusion into the program objective memorandum (POM) for the II program execution group (PEG), food acquisition procedures & standards for sanitation. Visit AR operated food service facilities to determine adequacy of garrison support, status of food service operations, & their degree of adherence to established standards. Provide technical assistance & guidance for improvements, evaluate each phase of the food service program, recommend corrective action as warranted, & discuss means of improved support with RRC & garrison personnel. Plans & schedules assistance visits based on analysis of problem areas from above reports & personal contacts with RRC & units.
