GG-0343-11(Record Mgt) Management Analyst (Record Mgt) QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level to qualify for appointment at the GS-11 grade level. Specialized experience is that which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. OR EDUCATION: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related is also qualifying for the GS-11.Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying.Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents that affect the RM, FOIA, PA, EODR, and postal programs.Knowledge of National Archives and Records Administration policies and procedures as well as those promulgated by the Department of Defense.Knowledge of the Center's critical national mission objectives, terminology, and management practices.Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of the various RM program operations.Skilled in adapting techniques and evaluation criteria to measure and improve the programs' overall effectiveness.Knowledge of operating systems software and customer provided or locally created databases. GG-0343-11(Record Mgt) Management Analyst (Record Mgt) Additional Duty Location Info:001 vacancies - Patrick AFB, FL MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); This position serves as Center Records Manager (CRM) for the Commander providing continuity and acting as the organization's expert in the various programs.Oversees all records management processes throughout the life cycle and executes legal requirements for records management programs.Manages all records programs within the Center as specified in Federal laws, National Archives and Records Administration guidelines, and applicable Air Force and Command instructions.Establishes policy and guidance on document imaging and the use of electronic records keeping.Administers the automated Records Information Management System (RIMS) and Integrated RIMS (IRIMS) software programs.In coordination with Security office, ensures all 25-year old records are reviewed for systematic declassification before automatically declassified by Executive Order.Develops and implements Operating Instruction to provide guidance on rocessing of records.
