SWH808393458 IT Specialist (NETWORK/CUSTSPT) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - TX - San Antonio MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Provide information technology support to include electronic mail administration and server management. Assist in implementation of hardware/software solutions. Assist contractor staff to facilitate network enhancements or repairs. Perform backup and maintenance of networked systems and locally installed telecommunications equipment and components such as file servers, routers, modems, printers, etc. Monitor LAN performance, effectiveness, memory and space utilization. Make recommendation for equipment. Backup, test and evaluate major systems. Function as organizational field representative on technical issues for assigned hub site. Troubleshoot and resolve problems from agency help desk. Resolve user problems on IT hardware components, equipment and software. Resolve application systems software integration issues. Assist in the resolution of operational and system problems of unique, or agency specific software applications. Install new hardware, software and upgrades.
