General Schedule Management will select within the salary range listed. Applicants must meet the following requirements at the entry level: One (1) year of experience directly related to the occupation, or 4 years of higher education above high school, or a combination of experience and education. To qualify at the YB-02 level, applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience which involved assisting in matters relating to the input procedures for financial, schedule, and work breakdown structures.
Each applicant's experience must have provided the ability to acquire these knowledge, skills & abilities: Knowledge of matters relating to database management and input procedures for financial, schedule, and work breakdown structures; Ability to utilize such word processing and other types of software to create, edit, reformat, and process and produce a wide range of documents and reports; Ability to archive, log, file, and retrieve electronic documents; and the Skill to support and train personnel on the basic use and requirements of such word processing and database management.The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.Your pay will be set within the range specified in this vacancy announcement and will be based on your qualification, education, experience, training, and availability of funds.NSPS positions are excluded from time-in-grade restrictions.Education can be substituted for experience. MAJOR DUTIES:

The incumbent serves in a developmental capacity and work assignments are designed to introduce the incumbent to the full range of duties and responsibilities. As such, the incumbent serves as the point of contact and assists Project Managers for matters relating to the database management and input procedures for financial, schedule, and work breakdown structures. Serves as the liaison with subject matter experts on administrative functions, operations, and directives. Collects data for the division operating budget; sets up controls to monitor assigned projects, and recommends budget adjustments. Supports current users and trains new personnel on the basic use and requirements of the scheduling and financial management database. Utilizes word processing and other types of software to process and produce a wide range of documents and reports in support of the mission.
