General Schedule SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Qualified candidates for this position must show in their resume that they have one year experience and training governing the theories and principles of consumer studies, financial counseling and techniques and budget counseling. To be creditable this year of experience must be equivalent to YA-01 or equivalent under the General Schedule or other pay system and provided the candidate with experience providing financial planning, budget counseling and consumer education. EUHR08390528 ARMY EMERGENCY RELIEF SPECIALIST Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - OA - Stuttgart, Germany MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); As an Army Emergency Relief Specialist for Army Community Services, MWR under the general supervision of the Financial Readiness Program Manager, you will provide specialized program knowledge in administering the Army Emergency Relief Program. You will prepare and maintain AER financial records and reports; initiate collection of delinquent accounts; determine financial status of member/dependent through interviews or discussion with finance office, military pay or other channels of information. You are accountable for the AER campaign. You will establish the most appropriate repayment schedule to fit each approved clients case and ensure clients thoroughly understand the requirements. You will perform group and individual budget counseling in an attempt to help prevent future financial difficulties. Topics will include, but not limited to, Family Preparation for Deployment, Budgeting for Baby and Financial Planning for First Termer and Relocation Planning.
