NCFL08474711 IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: NSPS QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience at the next lower qualifying pay band or equivalent under the General Schedule (GS) or other pay systems. The experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position filled. Examples of creditable specialized experience include: Knowledge of management functions, principles and theory, Information Technology concepts, principles, methods, and practices, performance management, measurement methods, tools, and techniques, acquisition management policies and procedures, cost-benefit analysis principles and methods. Knowledge of evaluating Information Technology systems life cycle processes including development, testing, acquisition deployment, and support. Knowledge of how to prepare specific Information Technology management studies in order to develop reports for the MACOM USACE and higher headquarters in which Information Technology systems support alternatives are set forth along with discussion on feasibility desirability, costs, and recommended alternatives.
