QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To qualify for this position:
You must have a bachelor's degree with a major in an academic field related to the health or allied sciences appropriate to the work of a Health Science Specialist.A transcript must be provided with your application materials or your application will not be considered.

This position is located within the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) and primarily assigned to the Behavioral Health Laboratory (BHL).Major duties and responsibilities include:Completing structured diagnostic and clinical assessments for participants;Determining the appropriate level of care needs for patients not in treatment;Learning the use of a behavioral Health Laboratory software program for interviewing participants;Contacting patients through written correspondence and telephone calls;Developing a working knowledge of the clinical resources available;Presenting reports to VHL weekly or as assigned;Training new staff; andPerforming other duties as assigned.
