SWH808452526 Industrial Specialist (General) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - TX - Houston MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Incumbent serves as the Operations Analyst whose primary focus is operations system analysis as it applies to contractor manufacturing management systems. Performs Operations System Evaluations at the contract or subcontract level. Evaluates material lead times, process sequence intervals, and design change probabilities to identify current manufacturing status. Prepares reports of cost and schedule status with detailed recommendations to either mitigate or preclude schedule delays and cost over-runs. Coordinates surveys of potential contractors in regard to contractor performance capability. Confers with contractor management personnel, analyzes contractor records, production plans, and physically inspects the facilities. Tracks and analyzes production data to project future on-time delivery trends, identify production system weaknesses or deficiencies, identify risks, and determine and adjust surveillance strategies. Prepares and issues Corrective Action Requests.
