General Schedule ***THIS POSITION IS BEING RE-ANNOUNCED.*** SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify, applicants must possess 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as having a wide range of quality assurance methods, principles, and practices to evaluate the supplier?s conformance to contractual quality requirements and to assure that the supplier?s processes adequately control the quality of the product, analysis and investigation of adverse quality trends or conditions and initiation of corrective action, analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques, and knowledge of pertinent product characteristics and the associated manufacturing processes and techniques. BASIC ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must meet all basic eligibility requirements such as time-in-grade (TIG), minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the date the referral list is issued. SWH808343259R Quality Assurance Specialist (Electronics) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - MA - East Walpole MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Incumbent performs risk assessment and assigns risk ratings to quality systems and key processes. Develops plans for Quality System Evaluations (QSEs) of supplier quality systems to establish compliance with higher-level quality contract requirements. Perform QSEs of supplier quality systems. Verifies key quality system elements to validate data, and full/ partial system auditing. Defines and performs process proofing/examination and product audits/examination. Collects and analyzes customer, supplier and government data. Prepares, maintains and retains plans, records, data, reports, correspondence, and other documentation as required by contracts, customer instructions and DLAD 5000.4 policy. Examples include: risk handling plans, proofing and product audit records, process data, investigation reports concerning customer reported deficiencies, corrective action requests, letters of delegation, audit and survey reports.
