General Schedule NSPS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: This position is equivalent to the GS-11 level. In order to receive consideration for this position, candidates must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; or equivalent combinations of experience and education. Specialized experience includes, but is not limited to, the ability to apply military human resources management principles, concepts, regulations, practices, analytical methods and techniques to resolve human resources management problems not susceptible to treatment by standard methods. EUHM08482463 HUMAN RESOURCES SPEC (MILITARY) Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - OA - Heidelberg, Stuttgart & Southern Germany MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Military) assigned to the Family Advocacy Program Branch in the Soldiers and Family Assistance Center. You will provide advice and consultation to the Director, Soldier and Family Assistance Center on a wide variety of military HR matters. You will identify and coordinate a variety of resources and services for Warriors in Transition to include Department of the Army (DA) civilians that have physically, developmental, emotional or intellectual handicaps and support to their families. You will provide authoritative explanations and interpretation of the regulations, methods, procedures, and exceptions involving individual case actions. You will compose and prepare correspondence into final form which requires reference to regulations, related correspondence, precedents, and guides pertinent to the area of military personnel administration.
