DCIPS Qualifications Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance as a result of a current and favorable Special Background Investigation.GG-12 and above: One year of specialized experience directly related to the position being filled and equivalent to the next lower grade level. There is no substitution of education for experience at this level.Specialized experience for positions below GG-11 is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work is qualifying. For positions at or above GG-11, the experience must be directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower grade in the series. WTST07410763 Security Specialist Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy - OA - Belgium and France MAJOR DUTIES: BackToTop(); Serves as the Security Specialist responsible for development, implementation and management of the Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA) Programs. Interprets and implements higher headquarters security regulations; develops and implements local security policies and procedures as required for these programs. Manages program to ensure classified material is received, transmitted, handled, and stored in accordance with AR 380-5 and other applicable guidance from time of receipt/origination until dispatched/destroyed. Manages the determination of the suitability, security eligibility of individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and non-sensitive positions and the access to sensitive and classified information, resources, material, or work sites. Develops and manages the Command Security Education Program which consists of initial, refresher, special situations and annual training requirements.
